Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the Revuella Shopify app ("Service") provided by Revuella ("we", "us"). By installing the Service, you ("Merchant") agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Revuella connects to a Merchant's review platform (e.g. Judge.me, Yotpo) and Shopify store to generate AI-written review summaries, FAQs, product development research, and analytics, and to display them on the Merchant's storefront via Shopify theme app blocks.

2. Plans, billing and trials

The Service is offered on Basic, Basic Plus, and Growth plans as described on our pricing page. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. Billing is handled through Shopify's RecurringApplicationCharge API; charges begin automatically after the trial unless the Merchant uninstalls beforehand. Merchants can change or cancel their plan at any time from the Shopify Admin.

3. Merchant responsibilities

• Provide accurate API credentials for connected services (review platform, Klaviyo)
• Review and approve AI-generated content before it goes live — Revuella surfaces drafts for approval, but the Merchant controls what is published
• Ensure use of the Service complies with applicable consumer protection and advertising laws in their jurisdiction

4. AI-generated content

Revuella uses Claude (Anthropic) to summarize and analyze customer reviews. While we design prompts to keep output factually grounded in the underlying reviews, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate. Merchants are responsible for reviewing generated summaries, FAQs, and reports before publishing them live.

5. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Intellectual property

The Merchant retains ownership of their store data, product content, and customer reviews. Revuella retains ownership of the Service, its underlying software, and the Revuella name and branding.

7. Termination

Merchants may uninstall the app at any time from the Shopify Admin, which stops future billing. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revuella is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
